WORK
1. Live in AustinEditorial Book , Risograph Print, Album Cover, and Postcard Design, 2025
Austin, Texas has long been known as the “Live Music Capital of the World.” This project—a 300-page book, Risograph-printed map, album covers, and postcards—draws from the era when Austin’s music scene first took shape. The book traces the city’s musical history, spotlighting legendary venues, emerging spaces, and the artists who built and continue to shape Austin’s sound. A Risograph poster maps 100 venues, postcards highlight the scene’s diversity, and albums reflect its evolving genres. More than entertainment, music in Austin is a vital thread in the city’s culture.
2. 256 Book Design and Binding, 2024
256 is a curated collection of over 256 images, sourced, organized, and categorized to create a visually cohesive narrative. The images are bound into a handcrafted, coptic-stitched 5" x 7" book, showcasing a unique blend of artisanal craftsmanship and thoughtful design. The book's covers are wrapped in canvas, that was screen-printed with a custom pattern.
3. Pioneering Women of American Architecture
Editorial Book Design, 2023
Pioneering Women of American Architecture is a book design project inspired by the work of women architects featured on the website "Pioneering Women of American Architecture." Drawing from the history of mid-century architecture showcased in the book, the design reflects the bold, clean lines, and geometric elegance characteristic of that time. This project is a celebration of the often-overlooked contributions of female architects and merges historical research with design to create a tribute to their impact in the architectural world.
4. Texas Flowers
Book Design and Binding, 2024
Texas Flowers is a handcrafted, coptic-stitched book that captures my personal connection to home and my love for exploring natures beauty in Texas. Designed to resemble a field notebook, this collection showcases a variety of Texas wildflowers, each thoughtfully illustrated by Eula Whitehouse and then arranged to reflect the charm and diversity of the region’s flora.
6. Do Not DisturbPackaging and Label Design, 2023
Do Not Disturb is a wine brand inspired by the nostalgic charm of 1960s roadside motels and the allure of escaping into moments of quiet indulgence. The labels draw inspiration from vintage "Do Not Disturb" signs commonly found in mid-century motels. Each bottle invites the drinker to pause, and enjoy life, much like a getaway. This design project allowed me to merge my passion for vintage aesthetics with a modern adaption, creating a brand identity that feels both nostalgic and inviting.
